Patrick J. McGinnis
Patrick (PJ) McGinnis, Esquire joined the Law Offices of Jennifer J. Riley in 2021 as an Associate Attorney.
PJ’s practice of Family Law is focused on all aspects of domestic-relations matters, including negotiation and litigation of property division, child and spousal support, custody, pre/post-nuptial agreements, and protection from abuse.
PJ received his B.A. in Business/Marketing from Franklin & Marshall College in 2015 and went on to graduate with a J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2018. Throughout all seven years of schooling, PJ discovered and developed his passion for family law matters and clientele by working alongside seasoned family litigators in the Greater Philadelphia area. Now, PJ often blends his education and background of business with his passion for family matters by representing clients who run their own companies or small businesses and have complex support and/or equitable distribution issues.
During law school, PJ had the opportunity to represent clients at various levels of Pennsylvania courts as a Certified Legal Intern at Villanova’s Farmworker’s Legal Aid Clinic. PJ also spent time working with the Honorable Risa Vetri Ferman of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas while her Honor was in the Family Division.
Currently, Attorney McGinnis is an active member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He proudly serves as a volunteer child advocate attorney with Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) in Norristown, PA, and he also provides free legal consultations to those in need at the Women’s Resource Center in Wayne, PA.
PJ was born and raised in Blue Bell and continues to maintain close ties to the community. While out of the office, PJ is most likely spending time with his horses, family, and friends in Pennsylvania and Florida.← Back to Attorneys
