Hailey J. Song
Hailey J. Song joined the Law Offices of Jennifer J. Riley in June 2025 as a Law Clerk, bringing with her a rich background in criminal justice and a growing passion for Family Law. Originally from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Hailey began her legal journey with a deep interest in rehabilitative justice and criminal law, particularly prosecuting crimes involving vulnerable victims. Her experience in high-stakes, emotionally complex matters now informs her compassionate and focused approach to family law litigation.
Hailey earned her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in December 2023, following years of hands-on legal training. She began her legal career as an intern at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in the summers of 2021 and 2022, where she worked alongside senior prosecutors in the Family Protection Unit handling child pornography and sexual assault cases. In January 2023, she continued her prosecutorial training as a law clerk for the Delaware Attorney General’s Office in the Misdemeanor Trial Unit, where she gained courtroom experience in traffic and misdemeanor cases.
In August 2023, Hailey transitioned into a permanent role at the Delaware Attorney General’s Office, representing the Division of Child Support Services (DCSS). As a part-time law clerk and later an Assistant Attorney General, Hailey carried a full court docket, managing multiple court appearances each week and arguing complex support enforcement and arrears matters. Her time in this role solidified her interest in the intersection of family law and child advocacy, and ultimately led her to pursue family law practice full time.
